A RENOVATION, RESTRUCTURING, A CHALLENGE
The Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo started this important ‘re-creation’ in 2014, and is due to complete in 4 years. This is an historic moment for the 150 year old establishment, designed to fully realise the dream of its founder François Blanc: ”a hotel that surpasses everything that has been created so far”. This challenging project is committed to sustainable design, as part of the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and in line with the Société des Bains de Mer’s commitment to sustainable development.
Major innovations for this massive project are as follows:
The creation of a courtyard garden located in the centre of the establishment.
The enhancement of the roof areas: these will now house spa, fitness and swimming pool areas, several prestigious suites as well as an exceptional ‘villa on the roof’ equipped with its own swimming pool and private garden.
Increasing the size of the rooms and the number of suites.
It should be noted that the overall accommodation capacity and historic facade of the hotel will remain the same as it is today. Several of the hotel’s famous landmarks, such as the Hall of Entrance, the Cave, the American Bar, the Empire Hall, the Louis XV and the Grill, will also be preserved in their present condition. The reopening of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo is scheduled for September 2018. To get a glimpse of this ambitious renovation project, an exhibition of visuals is currently being held in the Winter Sporting Gallery.
AGATH’ S CONTRIBUTION
AGATH will have the honour of participating in this daring project. It is only natural that the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo has decided to rely on our know-how in the field of design televisions to equip its bathrooms and bedrooms. AGATH’s 22 to 55-inch mirror televisions with Super Clear and Bronze mirrors will soon be available for guests of this extraordinary hotel. Our determination to push the limits of audio-visual technology and tailor-made integration has once again proved invaluable.
